PROVERBS 10:28
The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
Today’s verse stands out to me from when I studied the book of Job, the most cool thing about the book of Job is that they had no Bible and they understood better than we do. The first part of the verse tells us even though we fail we can still have hope. Sometimes it is necessary for us to fail so we can get wisdom from our failure.
Psa 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
The second part of the verse is telling us the wicked have no hope, it looks like the wicked are always getting ahead or do better than we do but let’s look at the verse in;
Job 8:13 So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite’s hope shall perish:
JOB 8:14 Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider’s web.
Thank GOD our hope is in HIM, their hope will be cut off.There is coming a day when all the wicked will see and remember GOD, or what a Christian has told them and it will be too late. How terrible it must be to have no hope to wake up in front of The Lord and realize that they were wrong and that all their expectations of what death would be was a lie because they wanted to be their own god and trust in their money or who they thought they were.
Psa 112:10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
