PROVERBS 8:22-31
22The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
26  While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
27  When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
28  When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
29  When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
       30  Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
31  Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

Verses like these are why I am sold out to JESUS, I truly do not understand how people read these verses and still not surrender to HIM. Then to top it of JESUS says HIS delight is with the sons of men, JESUS delight is in us how amazing is that!  Sorry there is nothing more to say the Word says it all PRAISE GOD!!!

  PROVERBS 7:4-5
Prov 7:4 Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:

These verses stand out to me, Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; this means that wisdom you should dearly love like Solomon did. This is what he prayed for and GOD gave it to him the smartest man on the planet outside of JESUS. We should delight in it, no different than our sister we should love them and delight in them, it’s a gift from GOD. and call understanding thy kinswoman, this means that understanding is our friend and we take pleasure in GODs word, we should consult with it.
JESUS says in:

Mat 12:50  For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

If we follow these instructions then when the false prophets or wolfs show up we will see through those sheep suits and see the wolf inside and know that all they want is to lead us astray.

Prov 7:5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.

The strange women is the false church they always use those feel good words to lure you in make you think that all ways lead to heaven or they have idol worship they can even have you worshipping yourself before you know it. Hey after all that’s the American way got to have good self esteem.

Eccl 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

It is another one of those old tricks that goes back to Genesis with Able and Cain, Able is the bible believing Christian and Cain is the religious thinking that he can work his way to heaven. All we got to do is believe in JESUS with our whole heart no works no add on nothing but JESUS. GLORY TO GOD, thank you LORD.

PROVERBS 6:6
Prov 6:6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

The LORD said to study the ant so I did and found this article by Tom Hennigan and found that the ant was a picture of JESUS

The Great Communicator

In Scripture Jesus is called the Word (Lógos), which literally means “a thing to be said.” It emphasizes His standing as God’s supreme and definitive Voice in the universe. He is the communicator of the mind of God through the words of Scripture. He also created the universe and upholds it “by the word of His power” to ensure that His attributes are clearly seen in nature
(see John 1:1; Hebrews 1:3; and Romans 1:20).
So it should not surprise us to find highly complex societies of ants who communicate and cooperate to accomplish amazing tasks.

As a result of their cooperation and hard work, ants are more successful than almost any other creature in settling the earth. They may account for one-fifth of the total mass of all land animals. It is to the ants that God directs our attention: “Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, which, having no captain, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest” (Proverbs 6:6–8).

The article talks about how ants communicate one to another and help each other and work together on gathering food or if one gets lost how they will find each other and rescue each other. It seemed like The LORD was showing me a picture of the body of CHRIST and how we should talk to one another and help each other like ants do so that the whole body works together. Here is the link if anyone would like to read the whole article it is pretty cool and there is wisdom in it. http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/am/v5/n2/ants

PROVERBS 5:13-14
13 And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

Can you hear The Lord, oh how I love HIM!!  GOD gives us Pastors, teachers for a reason, we are to OBEY them and EXTEND our ears to them for instruction and reproof and growth.

Jer 3:15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
          Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

See how pastors and teachers are in the verse that means they do both jobs they are together not separate the same job.

Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

If we would only submit our self to the edifying from the Pastors and teachers we might be able to be perfect like the verse states. This is GODs will for our life but we walk around like we do not need a teacher or Pastor. We get out of Church and 30 minutes later we are doing exactly what the Pastor said not to be doing, the problem with that is we not only disobey the Pastor but we are disobeying The LORD too!

1 Thes 4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

We all need to wake up and incline our ears to the word, The Lord and to The Pastors and teachers because what happens when we don’t is this,

Prov 5:14 I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.

Sad to say but some people never make it back from this. This is why I love The LORD so much He tells us everything from beginning to the end and all the consequences of all our actions, the only thing we will be able to say at the judgment seat is we did not love HIM. JESUS tells us all this, there are no excuses, just rejection!

Jud 1:7-13 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

Please understand that I have found myself in these shoes and it’s scary Glory to GOD for waking me up. We all do it and some don’t come back I just care about all of you and praying that we would all wake up and see it really and truly is all about JESUS, we all say that but do we really get it?

PROVERBS 4:26
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

The first part of this verse tells us to weigh what we do on a scale and see if it measures up to what the word of GOD says. Sometimes we should slow down and look at the way we live and what we are doing and see if it lines up with the Bible like it says in these verses:

Hag 1:5  Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
Eph 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

The word circumspectly  means accurately, so HE  wants us to walk and live according to HIS ways.
A brother in JESUS had taken the time to teach  me that the Bible is the plumb line in our life and that is how to know if the path of our feet are in the right direction or not. The second half of this verse He tells us let all thy ways be established, that means to be firm or stable or steadfast or to be set. This tells me that we should be firm in what we believe, that we should be stable in our life with the word, and HIS ways for our life.

2Thes 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
When we get established JESUS will keep us from evil and  strengthen us.
1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

This verse tears all that feel good teaching up Peter tells us we will suffer a while, but the suffering makes us perfect and strong and established. I will take all the suffering and trouble in this life, the way I see it I probably only have 40 plus years left here in this life and that is nothing compared to eternity!!!

  PROVERBS 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

This is a verse that I find very hard to do!  I struggle with this, always try to figure it out like I am some kind of genius and what I should do is TRUST GOD! I find it hard because I was raised that it was my job to do it on my own and not supposed to ask for help, my dad always told me where there is a will there is a way and cant never could. Then JESUS found me and I learned that my will was the problem and that if I would surrender to HIM that HE could help me and do HIS will not my will.  I look back and see that all I was doing was the same thing our first parents did I was trying to be my own god. So when problems come I try to fix them and the HOLY SPIRIT reminds me of:

EPH 1:12-13 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

If anyone else struggles with this just pray for GOD to fill you with HIS SPIRIT and to strengthen your inner man! That is what helps me not to lean on my own understanding and to trust the LORD!!!

 PROVERBS  2:2-3
    2  So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
3  Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding.

These verse stands out to me give us more instruction on how to know JESUS.  We need to listen to the word of GOD as we read and apply them to our hearts so that we are changing our lives to fit the Bible and to be careful not to change the Bible to fit our life. This is how we become transformed into Bible believing Christians by following the words of GOD just like:

1 Samuel 3: 10  And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

We need to receive the WORD with readiness of mind and not murmuring. We should hide the WORD inside us like treasures that could be robbed. In verse 3 we see that we should cry out for knowledge like homeless cry for money and food. We should pray for knowledge like our life depends on it. Our life should depend on it.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

James tells us to ask GOD and HE will give it to us LIBERALLY, the more we read the less excuses we have not to know HIM. The awesome thing is that Solomon tells us where and how to get wisdom right here in these verses.

PROVERBS 1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? This verse stands out to me as a Christian. The book of Proverbs is for believers so we can have the mind of JESUS and live like HIM. This is the problem in our churches today, get saved and then go out and do whatever we choose JESUS says HOW LONG, YE SIMPLE (silly fools) ONES, WILL YE LOVE SIMPLICITY (foolishness)? So if we love simplicity then we do not love HIM! JESUS says and the scorners (talk arrogantly) delight in their scorning (bragging), and fools hate knowledge? If we hate knowledge then that means we would hate GOD! PROVERBS 1:7 says The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. We see this all the time in Christians and try to help and encourage them to study and learn more about JESUS but they never have time or just choose to watch TV or anything besides spend time with JESUS. I do not understand this because we will spend eternity with HIM and we have the ability to know HIM right now and forever more. Personally this verse is what reminds me of how important it is to walk and talk to JESUS daily and to know him more and more. I have learned that if I read a verse in the Bible and it makes me mad or angry that it is the HOLY SPIRIT convicting me of my sin and wrong doing. JESUS continues to shred any justifying we try to come up with on why we can’t learn more about HIM! I just want to encourage all my brothers and sisters in CHRIST to spend time and talk with HIM daily and learn as much as we can so at the judgment seat we can stand before JESUS unashamed because we have studied and know HIM!

Pro 31:26  She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of

kindness.

The Book of Proverbs has said a lot about how we are suppose to speak, to me

this verse kind of sums it up. To open my mouth with wisdom will only

happen if I allow God to guide me.  Psa 111:10  The fear of the LORD is the

beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his

commandments: his praise endureth for ever.  We have to have that

understanding. Also we have to be able to not only speak with wisdom, but also

with kindness. Mal 2:6  The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not

found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many

away from iniquity.  We can’t approach sharing Christ without showing that

kindness. God certainly shared his kindness with me. Psa_117:2  For his merciful

kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise

ye the LORD. God has given us such a great example to follow. Wisdom and

Kindness such a great combination.

Pro 30:8-9  Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor

riches; feed me with food convenient for me:   Lest I be full, and deny thee, and

say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God

in vain.

As I read these verses I thought of what Paul said. Php 4:11-12  Not that I speak in

respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be

content.  I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every

where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to

abound and to suffer need.  These verses are ones that we should apply to our

daily walk. God is enough! He wants to be the supplier of our needs, both worldly

and more importantly our spiritual needs. Php 4:19  But my God shall supply all

your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  All of our needs. No

need to look further, just look to God.
